For years I've said the best part of the photographic industry has nothing to do with photography, but the friendships that come out of everyone's love for the craft.

There's very little more important than your friendships. We all have lots of friends, even more because of social media, but the ones who are always there for you make up a very small minority. They're your inner circle, the ones who watch your back and help boost your creativity. They're the ones you can always count on to be there when you need help. And it doesn't always matter how little or long you've known each other.

Think about your network and then that smallest group, the true friends who you know are always there for you. It's funny, Hallmark has capitalized on Mother's Day, Father's Day, Bosses Day, Secretaries Day (Now called Administrators Day), and the list goes on and on...but there isn't a Friends Day...Maybe it's time.

Not long ago I found one quote that really says it all:

Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain.
It's not something you learn in school.
But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, then you haven't learned anything.
